Influenced by Native American’s shamanism, the collections was constructed around the idea of animal totems and that every creations should be designed according to the environment of the maker. Thus it was thought as animals in nature, each play a distinct role itself but all are part of a larger organism which relies on them, and vice-versa.
Designs were inspired by the french moors “les Landes” and 3 of its natives : the owl, the pheasant and the bore. Expanding to areas of tensions between noble and wild, light and dark, man and animal, group and individual, Projet Zoolâtre coexists within the (un)-expected.
Née d’un intérêt pour le chamanisme natif américain, la collection fut élaborée atour de l’idée d’animal totem et que chaque création doit découler de son environnement. Écosystème identitaire, elle fut pensée comme les animaux dans leur milieu, chacun jouant un rôle crucial pour celui-ci et vice-versa.
Les silhouettes s’inspirent donc des Landes et trois de ces créatures : la chouette, le faisan et le sanglier. Inscrit dans des domaines de tensions entre noble et sauvage, lumière et ombre, homme et animal, groupe et individu, Projet Zoolâtre coexiste dans l'(in)-attendu.
